YOU MADE IT!
We’ve been worried sick about you! Ha ha! We don’t make a whole lotta wine, but we are happy to share what we have when we have it. We know that finding Biale wines can be tough. I hope that finding us here on the web was a bit easier. Thanks for coming.

WHAT WE DO & HOW WE DO IT
By now, you know that the Biale family has been farming Zinfandel in Napa since the 1930’s, making and selling wine “under the radar” for decades. Commercial in 1990, we have expanded by coming to specialize in small lots from little historic vineyards, many of which have been in the same families for decades. Needless to say, these old properties don’t produce a whole heckuva lot, but boy! what they produce.

As we first honored Zinfandel, it is true that Zinfandel has honored us. We “got our start” with Zinfandel. Now, we have gotten quite a bit of good press for our Petite Sirahs and Syrahs, as well as for our Sangiovese, Barbera, and Sauvignon Blanc. To see a list of our vineyards, click here.

It is difficult to find most of our wines in restaurants or retails shops. Just like in the days of old, we depend on word of mouth – good people sharing good Biale. We have fans that have been with us for years, each with a set of favorite Biale wines. Newsletters go our twice a year, announcing our releases.

THE MOST ASKED QUESTION
We do NOT have on line ordering. We may add it at some point, but for now, we like the more personal interactive sort of ordering. Depend on our newsletters. In between, give a shout out via email or phone. I’ll be happy to tell you what we have available at any given time.

THE BLACK CHICKEN SOCIETY
Having gained access to this back porch, you must have joined our mailing list, but you may not be a part of the Society. The BCS is a Members Only club that sends you boxes of four wines three times a year. SPEAKING OF THE TASTING ROOM
Just as discovering Biale is really a shared experience--usually word-of-mouth--so is finding where we live. We enjoy company and sharing our wines. We are limited by ordinance to APPOINTMENTS ONLY. THE BIALE FAMILY NEWS
We are moving right along. Aldo Biale, our 80 year old patriarch, passed away last December. It rocked our world, especially the Biale Family, but we carry on.
