2006 Hill Climber -Jack & Jill
Sonoma Valley Syrah

The Peak of Sonoma.

A pail of water? Jack and Jill should have gone up the hill to fetch some great Syrah and enjoy the view - with a nice baguette and a small wedge of nicely aged Gouda. The nasty crown injury and subsequent messy first aid could all have been avoided. Moral learned: Less water, more wine.

Biale is serious, very serious about Syrah. We have access to small quantities of some of the best vineyards in Napa and Sonoma from which we grow and vinify wines that directly reflect the character and style that is unique to the site.

The fruit-stuffed, athletic, and sexy 2006 Jack and Jill is from three primary Hill Climber vineyards in the mountains of Sonoma: Monte Rosso, Rogers Creek, and Kiger Family. Each site contributes a little something to this rockin’ blend. Monte Rosso, berry and spice; Rogers Creek, structure and black fruit; Kiger, mid palate fruit and elegance – all the substance and sophistication you would expect from world class Sonoma vineyards and a top producer. 289 cases produced.
